I went here last night and I enjoyed myself. The atmosphere was nice and quaint. The presentation of the food is beautiful and tastes pretty good. It wasn’t bad and it wasn’t great! Just pretty good. Then again, maybe it was the dishes I ordered. The shaved ribeye appetizer was not what I was expecting and the meat was overcooked. I ordered the blue crab stuffed shrimp over what I am assuming was rice. It could have used some more flavor but it wasn’t bad. I would visit again because I liked the vibe and the location. The price was reasonable.
The ambience is very nice and staff were really helpful. There are not a lot of vegetarian options and the cost is a little on the higher end. The dishes were good.
Very good Italian restaurant but a tad pricey for lunch for me on a reg basis. Everyone liked their dishes except for the one that ordered the chicken burrata. She said it was bland and ordered a side of Alfredo to add to it then she liked it. I tried a bite and thought they could've added more seasoning and garlic. I had their fish special which was the same as the sole parmesan but just with blackened redfish. I thought it was very tasty and filling. Fish was cooked perfectly and the cream sauce was very flavorful. I could only eat half. Lunch wasn't too busy and the service was good.
Everything about this place was great until my entree arrived.
I ordered the tortellini.
As pictured, it comes is this giant bowl, but there were only five tortellinis in it.
I left the restaurant at the end of the meal, still hungry.
Place had a full house on a Friday night which always is a good sign. We sat at the bar instead of waiting for a table. Bartender was super attentive even with his other duties but not intrusive. We started with the Calamari Shrimp Fritto Misto. Both were done perfectly and the wife loved the cauliflower. Food came out quickly afterwards and very presentable. As we hoped it was outstanding. The Lobster Ravioli Pescatore was amazing and the had the Fettuccine Primavera which she loved as well. A definite must visit in a crowded market for restaurants in Addison
Decent food (nothing to write home about), higher prices, good service and great atmosphere, plenty of free parking available. Good for a business or maybe even a romantic dinner.
Panevino Osteria Italian Restaurant deserves a 5-star review for its outstanding menu items. The seared scallops were cooked to perfection, the Margherita pizza was deliciously authentic, and the spicy pork sausage rigatoni was full of flavor. The alcoholic drinks were crafted with care and complemented the meal perfectly. To top it off, the cannolis and chocolate lava desserts were heavenly. The service was excellent and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. Our waitress Tina was amazing. Overall, Panevino Osteria Italian Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for a top-notch Italian dining experience.
The staff was amazing, the decor was warm and welcoming and the food was amazing. For the appetizer we had the calamari which was perfectly cooked. For the entree I ordered the crab stuffed shrimp risotto, it was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. My partner ordered the surf and turf and loved it. The cocktails were reasonably priced and delicious. Would absolutely recommend!
